Year Of The Wood Sheep At Solaire Hotel

I had another opportunity to visit Solaire Resort and Casino to experience the advent of the year of the sheep and i’m glad to be part of this opportunity to witnessed the spectacle of a Dragon and Lion where dancers dress up as lions and dragons and begin their performance in the Solaire’s main lobby and parade to different areas of the resort.

The Chinese New Year is symbolic of letting go of the past and welcoming new beginnings.

There are many options to eat your way through Chinese New Year.

No Chinese New Year would be complete without a feast. You can take your pick of the holiday specials offered at restaurants at the resort like the traditional “Tikoy” or sweet sticky rice is available at Red Lantern Restaurant. Boxes of this delicacy are also available for bulk orders.

The special a la carte menu consisting of mouth-watering savories like tikoy, dim sum and delectable Chinese specialties like Braised Pork Trotter with Chinese Mushrooms and Black Sea Moss, Sauteed Prawns with Vegetables and X.O.
